Calhan School District RJ1

Calhan School District is located approximately 35 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  The District has a total enrollment of approximately 520 students in preschool through twelfth grade.  The faculty and staff are proud of their commitment to educate all students in a safe learning environment which promotes high academic standards and social responsibility.

Mission of Calhan School        

Three priorities of the Strategic Plan continue to guide the decisions made for the students, staff, and community of Calhan; 1) maximize learning and achievement for all students, 2) effective use of resources, 3) proactive, positive, and meaningful relationships to support student success.  The Calhan Board of Education is committed to keeping students at the center of our attention.  Additionally, the board recognizes that the commitment, support, and effort among all stakeholders are essential as Calhan School District continues to strive toward excellence.
